Measure

Campaigns

The Campaigns area groups related communications (e.g. an integration or SIPAT campaign) to plan and measure the set: aggregated indicators, insights by period and dimension, and comments on all communications in one place.

Concepts and terms

Term (as it appears on screen)What does it mean
CampaignA group of announcements, with name and status. A announcement can be linked in the campaign itself or at the time of sending (publisher's Campaign field).
StatusActive (default when creating), Finished or Archived. The change is always manual, in the dropdown on the details screen.
Main indicatorsThe top three cards: View Rate, Communications and Feedback (total reactions).
InsightsThe analysis tab: Average views, Best Times and Views by dimension, with Period and Segment by filter.
Campaign AnnouncementsThe list of linked communications, with status, views, recipients and tags.

What can you do

  • Create campaigns (just the name, up to 45 characters) and find them by search and status filter (General, Active, Finished, Archived, with counters)
  • Rename the campaign inline (pencil icon) and change the status via the dropdown
  • Add announcement to the campaign (search among those not yet linked) and remove (individually or in batch) — the link can also be created upon sending, via the editor's Campaign field
  • Monitor aggregated indicators and open each communication directly from the list (in a new tab)
  • Analyze in the Insights tab: accumulated visualization curve, best interaction times and performance by dimension (department, branch, etc.), with CSV export
  • Read all Comments of the campaign, filtering by sentiment (All / Positive / Neutral / Negative)
  • View tasks linked to the campaign (Links, for accounts with the demand portal)
  • Delete campaigns (individual or batch)

Step by step

Create a campaign

  1. 1.In the side menu, click on Campaigns and then on Create campaign.
  2. 2.Enter the Name (up to 45 characters) and confirm. The campaign starts with status Active.
  3. 3.Alternative: when configuring the sending of an announcement in the editor, search for or create the campaign in the Campaign field — the announcement is already linked.

Add and remove announcements

  1. 1.In the campaign, Campaign Announcements section, click Add announcement.
  2. 2.Search, mark the desired ones and click Confirm (N). Only communications that are not yet linked to this campaign and that have at least one channel appear.
  3. 3.To remove, hover over the line and click the "X" (or select several and use Remove (N)). Remove unlinks the announcement from the campaign — the announcement itself is not deleted ("This action cannot be undone" refers to the link).

Monitor indicators

  1. 1.The Overview tab displays the three cards: View Rate (proportion of recipients who viewed the announcements — see the exact definition below), Communiqués (total linked) and Feedback (total reactions; without reactions, it shows "No comments :(").
  2. 2.The list of announcements shows by line: title, badge Not sent when applicable, preview by channel, views, recipients and tags. Clicking opens the announcement details in a new tab.

Analyze in the Insights tab

  1. 1.Choose the Period: Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days (default), Last month or All. Your choice is saved for you in this campaign.
  2. 2.Choose Segment by (dimensions of your base — department, branch, etc.). With no fields configured, the button warns: "This campaign has no fields configured for targeting."
  3. 3.Three blocks, each with Export (CSV):
  • Average views — cumulative percentage of views day by day
  • Best Times — interactions by time of day (sum of events such as views, clicks and reactions; use for comparison, not as a literal number)
  • Views by — table by dimension with Recipients, Views and Rate

Change status (activate, finalize, archive)

  1. 1.On the details screen, use the dropdown next to Status: and choose Active, Finished or Archived.
  2. 2."Backwards" transitions (going from Completed, or from Active to Archived) ask for confirmation: "The campaign will be moved from X to Y. Do you want to continue?".
  3. 3.Practical effect: Finished no longer appears in the campaign selector when sending communications (you cannot link new sendings); Existing data and communications are not changed in any status.

Delete campaigns

  1. 1.In the list, use the row's trash bin or select several and click Delete (N).
  2. 2.Confirm: "This action cannot be undone. The selected campaigns will be permanently deleted." The communications are not deleted — only the campaign and its links.

What can be analyzed/adjusted

MetricDefinition confirmed
Viewing Rate (card)Average, per person, of the percentage of campaign communications they viewed (those who viewed 2 of 4 communications count 50%; the card is the average of these people)
Average views (Insights)accumulated percentage: accumulated views ÷ total campaign submissions, day by day
Best TimesTotal interactions (views + clicks + reactions) aggregated by time of day
Views by dimensionBy segment: recipients, views and rate (views ÷ recipients)
FeedbackSum of all reactions (positive, neutral and negative) to communications

Limits and rules

RuleValue
Campaign nameMandatory, up to 45 characters
Initial statusActivate (not chosen during creation)
Status changeManual only — no automatic completion by date or submission
DateThe campaign only has the creation date; there is no end date
Add announcementOnly active communications, with a channel, not yet linked to the campaign
DeletionPermanent in practice (no recycle bin/restore in the interface)
Access to the areaCampaigns permission (planning) in the access profile
Rename, change status and deleteRequire permission to delete communications (of the corresponding scope)
Add/remove announcementsRequire permission to edit communications (of the corresponding scope)
VisibilityDepending on the scope of the communications vision: everyone, the team or just themselves

What tends to confuse

  • "Archive" is not a button — archiving is changing the status to Archived in the dropdown on the details screen.
  • Ending does not freeze the campaign: the numbers continue to update; the only effect is to exit the campaign selector when sending new communications.
  • View Rate is an average per person, not "views ÷ sends" — may differ from the summed numbers of individual communications.
  • Removing a campaign announcement does not delete it — it just undoes the link.
  • The Comments tab is disabled as long as there are no comments on the campaign communications.
  • Best Times is comparative, not literal (the screen itself warns you) — use it to choose time slots, not as an exact count.
  • The date displayed under the title in the list is the creation date of the campaign.
